I shot this maternity session last summer wearing a toque. Alberta weather is nothing if not unpredictable but man does it produce beautiful skies. We all met in K-country (these four having drove from Red Deer), and decided to brave the chill and impending rain. I am in love with the contrast that K’s dress provided against the mountain backdrop and the genuine sweetness and care these two had for each other was enough to keep everyone warm. I am so grateful to have a job where I get to meet such wonderful people and create photographs that will tell the story of their family.
