I grew up figure skating with E but eventually lost touch as you do. When she contacted me to do a session with her and her girls, I was so excited to catch up a bit and meet these two little babes. They both have the same fire in them that I remember her having and I had so much fun wandering around in the woods with the three of them. These are my favourite type of sessions to shoot because when you let the kids take the reigns a bit, you have the opportunity to capture genuine flashes of their personality. I know as a mother that I would rather remember the grin that comes with spinning in your new dress than those forced smiles with everyone lined up in a row. Thankful, as always to be a part of preserving these flashes in time.
